We have finished A Midsummer Night's Dream,

 and the student mixing mediums to portray different scenes 

that will eventually collage together

 for an entirely unique and utterly beautiful version of the play.

  • Middle School will have Milestone tests on February 9 & 11.

  • Student Council is selling Candy Grams - $1.00 per candy gram; deadline to purchase is Wednesday February 10th.  Delivery date is Thursday February 11th.

  • There is no school on Friday, February 12th and Monday, February 15th.

  • Enrollment contracts for the 2021-2022 academic year are due on Friday, February 26th.

  • February is Black History Month when we will be celebrating Black history and culture. If you or someone you know would be willing to share with a class, a division , or multiple groups to enhance our celebration in any way, please email jmyers@holychildacademy.com and we will make it as easy as possible. 

  • Looking forward, March is Women’s Month, April is Arab American Heritage Month, and May is Asian and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month.

Students in 7th and 8th grade religion class read Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “Letter from Birmingham Jail.” They dissected King’s message and discussed the difference between just and unjust laws.

  • January 27th is picture day and FREE DRESS for students; 7th and 8th grade students should BRING their gym uniforms

  • MIDDLE SCHOOL Winter Milestone Testing - Week of February 8 - 12, 2021

Back to School

 So nice to have a full week of school in person.

We accomplished quit a bit this week and are playing out month.

7th and 8th grade have started math projects,

 7th and Pre Algebra will be building a Popsicle-stick bridge for Geometry.

Algebra 1 will be working a math project provided by NASA

We also celebrated Cornelia Connelly's birthday on Friday.

discussing and processing current events;
